Description
A quick and flavorful 15-minute grilled salmon recipe featuring sweet, spicy, and smoky honey Sriracha glaze on cubed salmon bites.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 tbsp Sriracha sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 stalks green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Pat salmon fillets dry and cut into 1-inch cubes. Place in a medium bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, lime juice, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
- Pour glaze over salmon cubes and toss gently to coat evenly.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F/200°C). Clean and oil the grill grates thoroughly.
- Thread salmon cubes onto skewers (soak wooden skewers in water first if using) or place in a grill basket.
- Place skewers on the grill at a 45-degree angle. Grill for 2-3 minutes on the first side without moving to allow caramelization.
- Flip skewers and grill for another 2-3 minutes until salmon is opaque and flakes easily.
- Remove from grill, garnish with sliced green onions and a squeeze of fresh lime, and serve immediately.
Notes
Ensure grill grates are clean and oiled to prevent sticking. Do not crowd skewers; use 3-4 cubes per skewer for proper airflow. Watch honey closely as it burns easily. Salmon is safe at 125°F but can be cooked to 135°F for medium. Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 2 days.
